In 2004, House M.D. premiered on FOX. This TV series revolves around Dr. Gregory House, a brilliant but cynical and drug-addicted doctor who leads a team of diagnosticians at a hospital in New Jersey.
Nerdy Fact: House’s character is very much based on Sherlock Holmes, a fictional detective created by Arthur Conan Doyle. House’s apartment number is 221B, a tribute to Sherlock Holmes’ famous London address, 221B Baker Street.
