WELCOME TO MARIO KART

In 2005, Mario Kart DS released on the Nintendo DS. This kart racing game features 12 characters from the Mario series, 32 courses based on locations in the Mario series, and online multiplayer via Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection.

Nerdy Fact: It is the fifth main entry in the Mario Kart series and the first to use live-rendered 3D graphics for most of the objects in the game. It also introduced the Retro Grand Prix, which revamps tracks from previous Mario Kart games, doubling the number of in-game tracks.
