HITMAN | 2016

In 2016, Hitman released on the PC and consoles. Hitman is a stealth video game that follows the adventures of Agent 47, a genetically engineered assassin who travels to various locations and eliminates his targets in creative ways.

 

Nerdy Facts:

  • You can make Agent 47 dance in certain locations, such as the clubs in the “Murder of Crows” mission or the end of the dance floor in the “Till Death Do Us Part” mission.

  • You can summon a hidden kraken by shooting at five buoys in the water in the Sapienza episode.

  • You can participate in a real-life first-person shooter game, where you control a live actor playing as Agent 47, by calling a certain phone number in the Colorado episode.

EVERYTHING EVERYWHERE ALL AT ONCE | 2022

In 2022, Everything Everywhere All at Once premiered in theaters. Everything Everywhere All at Once is an absurdist comedy-drama film starring Michelle Yeoh as a Chinese-American immigrant who travels across parallel universes to save the multiverse.

 

Nerdy Facts:

  • The working title for the movie was A Woman Tries to Do Her Taxes, which is a reference to the plot of the film.

  • This was Ke Huy Quan’s first major role in 20 years. He played Evelyn’s husband, Waymond, and also had a nod to his Indiana Jones character, Short Round.

  • All the VFX for the film were done by nine people, including the two directors, who taught themselves with online tutorials.
