Satellite Stories 17 | Ixqui’s Story: Games, Mentorship, and Jesus

SHOW NOTES

Jamie Harris welcomes his friend Ixqui to the first episode of Season 4 of Satellite Stories for a powerful conversation about friendship, video games, discipleship, and encountering Jesus. What began years ago through a high school gaming club, Smash Bros., LAN parties, and blacktop conversations slowly grew into a deep mentorship marked by vulnerability, Bible study, prayer, and community. Ixqui shares how he went from simply showing up because his friends were there to eventually recognizing faith for himself, especially after praying over his brother’s child and realizing that God had heard him. This episode captures the heart of Satellite Stories: real people discovering how video games, nerd culture, and genuine relationships can become pathways for the gospel.
