Radio Matt welcomes Andrew Lowen, creator of Deliverance, to The Good Clean NerdCast to talk about building a Christian board game without compromising great game design.

Andrew shares how Deliverance grew out of his love for fantasy games, why prayer became a core gameplay mechanic, how Scripture influences the world without turning the game into a teaching tool, and what goes into designing angels, abilities, and brutally difficult encounters.

They also dive into the massive Council of the Fallen expansion, its branching campaign and deeper story, the challenges of crowdfunding and manufacturing, the return of Chain Lightning, giant raid battles, and why Andrew believes this new chapter of Deliverance is the best work his team has done yet.
