Steve Valdez of Savepoint Ministries kicks off the fall season of Bible Thump with a devotional inspired by Spider-Man: Brand New Day. Using the film’s idea that anyone in the background could suddenly become important, Steve challenges us to consider how easily we treat strangers, service workers, drivers, and people online like extras in our own stories. Through Jesus’ parable of the lost sheep in Luke 15, he reminds us that every person bears the image of God, has genuine value, and deserves to be treated with the love, patience, and grace of Christ.
