A FOURTH TEAM HAS BEEN ADDED TO THIS MATCH
THE HARDYZ RETURN + WRESTLEMANIA 23
The WWE Universe was already hyped for a triple threat ladder match for the Raw Tag Team Championships, but when The New Day teased the addition of another team, the arena erupted with speculation. Would they be entering the match themselves? Would another surprise team arrive?

CODY FINISHES THE STORY
CODY RHODES V. ROMAN REIGNS + WRESTLEMANIA 40
Cody Rhodes’ journey to the top of WWE had been a decade-long odyssey filled with setbacks, reinvention, and a deeply personal mission—to win the championship that his father, the legendary Dusty Rhodes, never held. After his return to WWE at WrestleMania 38, Cody made it clear that his goal was to become WWE Champion, but standing in his way was the most dominant force in modern WWE history: Roman Reigns. Their first encounter at WrestleMania 39 ended in heartbreak for Cody, as interference from The Bloodline cost him the match. One year later, he got his second chance, this time in a Bloodline Rules Match—essentially a no-holds-barred war where anything could happen.
The match was a brutal spectacle, with Reigns and Rhodes brawling into the crowd, crashing through tables, and enduring vicious punishment. Every time Cody seemed on the verge of victory, outside interference derailed his momentum—first from Jimmy Uso, then Solo Sikoa. However, Cody had backup of his own. In one of the most chaotic WrestleMania endings ever, John Cena, The Rock, The Undertaker, and Seth Rollins all became involved in the fight, leading to absolute mayhem around the ring. Despite a Samoan Spike and Spear combination nearly putting him away, Cody somehow kicked out, proving his resilience.
With the match reaching its climax, Cody countered Reigns’ spear attempt and delivered three Cross Rhodes in succession, finally pinning The Tribal Chief and ending his historic 1,316-day reign as Universal Champion. As he held the championship high, surrounded by WWE legends, his family, and the fans chanting his name, it was clear—Cody Rhodes had finished the story.
